Azaleas, Artful bonsai and A-Listers
We visited the National Arboretum to see the azaleas in all their glory. We were surrounded by color and dogwood white overhead. Magical! What a treat to be in DC for the Cherry Blossoms and the Azaleas.
This beautiful Bonsai started it's "training" in the 16th century.
The Cherry Blossom Festival organization had a party for the volunteers and of course some notable personalities attended.
Madonna was a bit of a wall flower, didn't move from the couch all night. Beyonsai (spelling?) would not stop dancing.
George and I hungout for awhile, nice guy, but a little quiet.
Bill on the other hand would not stop talking.
What can I say, you visit DC and you must meet the first couple. Amazing even in wax!

Boats, Botanicals and Bodies
Vic and I had a the chance to sail on the Bay. This sailboat is owned by a friend and is 47 feet of pure fun.
The Botanical Gardens were full of beautiful blooms and there were tulips everywhere.
At the Hirshhorn Museum there is an exhibit of the human form through the years. I loved the interaction between photographers and the giant in the corner. He was creepy, huge and nude. The Magritte painting was beautiful, please turn your computer to view properly.
