There were hundreds of kids, parents and candy on Capitol East in DC. The homes were decorated and ready for neighborhood kids and more from all over DC. Parents were in costume as much as the children, one family was the Wizard of OZ characters, very creative and fun. Dorothy was very popular, imagine her with heels and cleavege. We wandered around DuPont Circle looking for interesting costumes and found girls in high heels, skimpy costumes, swords, etc. Then we came across a group picketing The Church or Scientology, very scary.
